Make your Halloween Rock with these Dance Tunes
Growing up, my parents bought a house that was ideal for hosting parties! It was a model home and the sales office was situated in the garage. When my parents purchased the place, the carpet was removed from the three-car garage. However, the wood paneled walls, drop down ceiling with lights, air conditioning vent (typically closed when not in use), and separate entrance remained. It was a great spot for our dance floor when we had a party.
My sisters and I would bring down one of our stereos and speakers, along with all our records and set up our DJ station in the garage. We had to make several trips up and down the stairs…boy, we sure could have used an iPod/iPhone back then! That would have saved us a lot of time and energy, but we were young and didn’t mind. Besides, we were in full on party mode. We also strung small twinkle lights along the ceiling, to create the perfect ‘club’ atmosphere. When the party began we all took turns playing DJ.
