Party Punch and Floral Wreath
The holidays are fast approaching and it’s that time of the year when many gather their family and friends for a time of merriment. Instead of serving canned/bottled drinks at your next gathering, serve a delicious party punch. Then add a beautiful autumn floral wreath to the base to embellish your punch bowl and make it look stunning and gorgeous! After all, it’s a party!
2 qt. Ginger Ale
1 qt. Cranberry Juice
1 pint Orange Juice
1 Orange (sliced for garnishment)
Pour the first three ingredients into a large punch bowl and mix. Squeeze the juice from two lemons in a small bowl (remove any seeds). Add lemon juice to punch and stir. Add ice and garnish with orange slices.
1 12” Grapevine (twig) wreath*
Assorted flowers (chose autumn colored blooms)
12-24 Floral water tubes (vials)
*Make sure wreath is large enough to fit around the base of your punch bowl.
Cut flowers and greenery leaving a 1-2” stem. Place fresh flowers in water filled vials (greenery will last a little longer, so no need to place in vials unless you prefer).
Arrange greenery around the wreath leaving some space for the placement of the flowers. Arrange flowers in clusters within the wreath.
Since the vials are a little thick, you’ll want to find openings in the grapevine wreath where the twigs have room to hold the vials; position the flowers there to secure them in place.
Continue until wreath is covered and according to your liking. Cut wire and secure flowers into place, by wrapping the wire around the wreath. Place punch bowl in the middle of the wreath. Enjoy.
And remember to always give thanks!
