These napkin rings are made from cardboard toilet paper rolls (paper towel rolls will also work well). They’re simple to make and can be decorated for a casual look or dressed up for an elegant look. For our Friendship Gathering (see link below), we used an elegant look.
Fashion themed fabric (or fabric of your choosing)
Fabric tape (found at craft stores)
Cut fabric into 14″ x 14″ squares. Using fabric tape, follow the directions on the package and iron the hem.
Cardboard toilet paper rolls (or paper towel rolls)
Red ribbon (1 inch in width)
Glue or hot glue
Razor or xacto knife
Cut toilet paper rolls (1 inch in width) using razor or xacto knife. Cut red ribbon with scissors to fit around the toilet paper roll. Glue ribbon onto roll. Embellish napkin rings giving them a casual or more elegant look.
For a casual look, glue a strand of imitation pearls around the napkin ring.
For an elegant look, clip on a beautiful jeweled flower around the napkin ring.
