A Snack Basket for Your Guests
Entertaining out of town guests this weekend?
Our front door has been revolving with friends and family coming to town to visit. To welcome them into our home and rejuvenate their spirits, I place a beautiful snack basket in their guestroom to conquer their midnight munchies.
Everyone loves a snack, so providing a munchie basket is a great way for your guests to feel right at home. They can choose to watch television in the privacy of their room and not have to run back and forth to the kitchen all night long!
Stock up your basket with both salty and sweet treats or anything to satisfy their appetites. Even well-traveled guests will appreciate the thoughtfulness when it’s late and they’re craving rich chocolate, hot buttered popcorn or crunchy, salty nuts to fill their appetite. Ok, now I’m getting the munchies!
A munchies basket is a huge hit with talkative teenagers when their late-night hunger attack hit. Those watching their figures will be grateful for a healthier basket. You’ll be the talk of the country club with a luxury basket for your sophisticated friends. And don’t forget the little ones. Fill their basket with kid-friendly snacks they’ll love.
Here are some basket ideas your guests will enjoy.
Healthy basket ideas:
Granola bars, protein bars, trail mix, nuts & fruit, popcorn, Garden veggie straws, Vitamin water and bottled water.
Kids basket ideas:
Goldfish, Pirate Booty, fruit roll ups, kettle popcorn, yogurt raisins, applesauce, bite size candy bars, chocolate milk and juice pouches.
Upscale basket ideas
Terra chips, gourmet nuts & whole fruit, aged cheese & crackers, Pepperidge Farm cookies, gourmet popcorn, Godiva Belgian chocolate and don’t forget a little bubbly.
With delicious food, interesting conversations, and a basket full of love, I promise your guests will want to come visit again soon. Just one last hint, you may want to make yourself a little indulgence basket full of relaxing bath salts, delicious chocolate, and a good book for when your company is gone!
